The Central Place Mission
The mission of Central Place Family Resource Center is to provide diverse
support services for all members of the Southeast Polk community to
help individuals become safer, healthier, and self-sufficient.
History
In 1995, Southeast Polk Community Schools made a commitment to develop
a center to assist youth and families while addressing the basic needs
of children, and opened the doors of Central Place Family Resource Center.
The goal of Central Place is to help community members of all ages—solve
problems by connecting them to a wide range of supports and services,
including social service agencies, health providers, schools, churches,
food programs, and many other community organizations.
